I’m Modar Awwad, a cybersecurity specialist and the creator of The Cyber Investigator. My work spans security operations, incident response, penetration testing, and the protection of industrial systems and critical infrastructure. My experience combines hands-on technical work with information security governance, including ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks. I’ve helped strengthen monitoring and response capabilities, reduce vulnerabilities, and develop cybersecurity awareness through practical training. I’ve also contributed to the development of Jordan’s national cybersecurity framework and earned placements in SANS cybersecurity competitions. Through The Cyber Investigator, I share that experience in English and Arabic. Using clear explanations, technical animations, and practical examples, I help people understand how security tools work, recognise threats, and make safer decisions online.
